    Oral Semaglutide vs Injectable Bioavailability

Semaglutide comes in two main forms: an injection and an oral pill. Both aim to help with blood sugar and weight loss. But the way your body absorbs them is different.

Injectable Semaglutide goes straight into the bloodstream. That means it's more bioavailable— your body can use almost all of it. Oral Semaglutide has to survive your stomach acid, get absorbed in your gut, and pass into your blood.

Because of this, the oral dose needs to be much higher. You also have to take it on an empty stomach with water and wait at least 30 minutes before eating.

Injectables are more convenient for some because they only need one dose per week. Oral forms are taken daily. Both work, but the injection has a stronger effect for most people.

The choice depends on your lifestyle and preferences. Some people like pills; others prefer the once-a-week shot.
